Kvanefjeld Feasibility Study Developments: Mine and Concentrator Study Lowers Initial Start‐Up Costs 26 March 2013 |
Kvanefjeld Feasibility Studies Well Advanced: Implementation Strategy Set to Reduce Project Risk In May, 2012 Greenland Minerals and Energy Ltd released a prefeasibility study on the Kvanefjeld rare earth element – uranium project, located in southern Greenland. The prefeasibility study (PFS) draws upon substantial test work and technical studies, and involved a rigorous flow-sheet selection process to determine the optimal means of treating Kvanefjeld ores. The PFS outcomes indicate the clear potential for Kvanefjeld to be developed as a long-life, cost-competitive producer of rare earth concentrates and uranium oxide. 27 February 2013 |

Metallurgical Developments Continue to Advance and De‐Risk Process Flow‐Sheet Following an intensive flow‐sheet selection study conducted during 2011, a simple and elegant flow‐sheet has been selected by the Company as the most suitable method to process Kvanefjeld ore. 20 September 2012 |
Metallurgical Developments Lead to Circuit Simplification, Improved Metal Recoveries, and Reduced Costs for Kvanefjeld. Greenland Minerals and Energy provides an update on improvements to the proposed hydrometallurgical treatment of mineral concentrates, which will be produced from the Company’s Kvanefjeld multi-element project (heavy and light rare earth elements, uranium, zinc). Cleaner product separation between REEs and uranium has allowed for major circuit simplification thereby improving overall product recovery, reducing costs, and improving on the already robust economic metrics. 5 September 2012 |
Company Presentation, September 2012 Outlines why Kvanefjeld is recognized as a project of global strategic significance. Resource upgrades confirm Kvanefjeld's status as one of the world's largest resources of both heavy and light REEs, and uranium Key metallurgical developments have firmed up a simple, efficient and highly scaleable process flow sheet with low technical risk. This delivers a highly competitive cost structure. Net of uranium credits, Kvanefjeld will produce rare earth concentrates at costs comparative to those of Chinese rare earth producers. 2 September 2012 |
